kids that you recruit that want to be developed for the NFL care a lot. Why do you think BAMA recruits so well?

bait taken.

See Megatron who played in a fricking triple option; Nick Foles who played in a spread; Tre Mason who played in a triple option/read-option; LaMichael James who played in a spread; all the talent out of Oklahoma that runs an uptempo spread; etc. etc. etc.

Bottom line is: talent shows. If Leonard Fournette were to run out of the triple option, he'd still be looked at as a potential first round draft pick. If Malachi Dupre did nothing but block for 80% of the plays and then go up and fight for balls like Megatron did at GT, he'd be one the highest drafted WRs. We put a bunch of kids into the NFL not because of the system we run, but because we recruit the best players and, at least on defense, we coach them up. Don't give me this "Why do you think Bama recruits so well" horseshite. They recruit well because they win. They send kids to the NFL because they recruit well. It's circular, but its catalyzed by winning. Period.

Saban was on the job three weeks when he signed the Rivals #10 ranked class in the country. The year before Bama was Rivals #11. In 2007 Bama went 7-6.
They then signed the Rivals #1 class in 2008. Then they went 12-2 and finished #5. In 2009 they were Rivals #1 again and in 2009 they went 14-0.
then #5 in 2010
back to #1 in 2011, 2012, 2013, and 2014
