There is a difference between being flexible with clothes at work and letting a guy show up in some shite that looks like you'd find it at Hot Topic. I work in video production and am used to a loose dress code but that shirt is just awful. We'd probably make fun of the guy who wore it until he went home to change.

didn't read everything but that's pretty standard wardrobe for engineer/rocket scientist types
