Recognizing one's own limitations is a part of growing up. Think about your childhood dreams vs. life's reality. Most people have to learn to settle at some time or another. AJ seems like a good kid, a worker, a leader, and a team-player. I'm sure he's a great tiger. But if he can't start producing, we have to look elsewhere. That's life. Maybe these kids get hard lessons earlier than most of us, but they also have the opportunity to earn what average white-collar professionals make in a career in a few months time by their mid-20s.

He proved in the 2nd half Saturday that he can make a few throws and scramble enough to help win games. He just needs to be more consistent. Whether or not that happens, who knows. It almost seems like a confidence issue at this point.

He doesn't need to be an all world QB for this team to be successful. If he can consistently throw around 13-20 for 200yds and 1-2 TDs, this team would be really good.
