Everyone states that you shouldn't spend all your time in the Hinterlands but almost all of us spent all of our time in the Hinterlands.

It's the easiest spot to learn the game. On normal difficulty you can clear everything but the LVL 12 rifts.

I always clear the Hinterlands, then move to the Storm Coast to get Bull in my party. Clear out the Coast and move to the Fallow Mire and then the Oasis. Stick Crestwood somehwere in there. I always forget to find Varric on the ramparts to meet Hawk to get Crestwood opened up so I'm always way overpowered by the time I get to Crestwood.

That seems about right. I've actually never used Bull in any of my playthroughs. If I need a 2nd tank I've always preferred myself if I'm playing KE, or Cass.

I've decided to just finish up all the remaining stuff that's still available to me right now having finished all the MQ stuff. I'm going to do HW, finish up the Oasis, craft a bunch of shite for all party members, and hunt the remaining Dragons. Hell, might even re-spec my Rift Mage's skill points. I want to have finished everything that I can before DLC comes out.
