Because the "full band trip" has typically been to Dallas/Houston/Atlanta for the season opener.
There have been times in the past when the band has performed at Alabama, Auburn, Ole Miss, and Mississippi State. The Mississippi schools were further back in the day...Alabama and Auburn have been recently.

Like I said, I just think it should be a thing that doesn't happen. Whether an opposing band wants to do it here or we want to do it there.
It's our stadium with our band. It's their stadium with their band.
Just seems kind of dumb to me. I know it may be a cool experience for the kids in the band, but still.
