LSU's coaches called a great game. They got exactly the type of game they wanted, a low scoring slug fest, the type of game LSU could win with a severely limited QB.
The only thing you can second guess is the play calling in the OT. LSU had avoided putting their fate in the QB's hands the whole night and that might have been a good time to start. It's almost like knowing a TD was needed caused a little panic.

this, and that drop on first down was critical, and added to the panic....Jennings was trying to throw to rec's that were getting mugged well down the field.....instead of pecking away....he just went for it all...and it didn't work out....
