There was a coach that diagnosed the LSU fanbase with catastrophe syndrome. He was correct. It was gone a while, but it's back.
If things continue as they have, you'll be forced to see it sooner or later. Until then, you'll be dealing with the disappointment year after year. I'm not being a condescending dick when I say that I used to be like you. Lot of water over the dam between then and now.

I'd rather expect success and be disappointed by failure than to concede before the game is played.
