re: Jewish voters left the Democratic Party in higher numbers all other religions

It's relevant as to the discussion here that Jewish people were not voting for a political party which conceptually and logically should be their best option. My point and observation is simply that, on average, Jewish people are among the most intelligent (some would argue THE most intelligent) subgroups in modern society.

The obvious implication and why this is salient to this thread is that Jews in the US were historically in the Democratic Party's camp for some political reason(s) rather than because they were stupid or politically unsophisticated as a group.
