I grew up in Monticello.
used to Dove hunt in the back of Monticello a long time ago. They had cleared the land, paved the streets and put up street lights but no homes were built back there.
Could pull up in the truck, pull out chairs and blast doves flying across that tree line all day

We used to park on Flannery and hunt those same woods all the way back towards Monticello and the Bauxite mounds on Sherwood.
I'm sure we've accidentally shot in each other's direction a few times.
