Is it too soon to look up DUI arrests from last night?

Was trying to see if last night would already be recorded somewhere.
3 drunk dudes with backwoods Bama level accents came into cove last night, ordered a beer, talked a bunch of shite to the 4 of us in there, including an unprovoked declaration that they were cops. They left by screeching their tires through the lot, throwing in an audible "yeehaw" and were promptly pulled over.
I assumed they were full of shite about being cops, but allegedly (from a cove worker who was loitering around the arrow car) they were indeed and had a buddy pick them up without an arrest.

This did actually happen. Wanted to check out arrests if they were available to see if these guys really did get off.

Nothing today. Check the advocate online tomorrow night about this time. They don't report them everyday. But I doubt very seriously that they were cops and their buddy just let them go. They'd all be fired.

No, but I know what they look like and where they were arrested. I've seen posts linking to DUI arrests that gives a pic and arrest location. Couldn't find anything with a Google search.

Describe them for me.
Age, race, etc.
Parish and department too.

I've never seen that in Baton Rouge.

Nah, I'm sure people get let go all the time, cop or no. I know someone who drove a drunk driver home one night while on duty.

If it was the Cove on Corporate I'm assuming city made the stop.
ETA: someone got popped for 'driving too slow' last night

Was that in 1984? If so you may be correct. BRPD does not play those games.

3 white guys, 30's, one was about 5'10, average build, short cut light brown hair. Another was about 6'5, dark hair, stubble beard, thick thick country accent. The third guy I don't remember much. He wasn't a cop but was a 3 tour Iraq vet. We're a hat.
They preferred bud light, but opted for summer Shandy.
They didn't say where they were cops (the shorter guy talking all the shite literally said "we're both cops, DOESNT MASTER WHERE). This was on corporate.

Eta: my anecdote was more to show that it does happen (people get let go), not necessarily that it wouldn't get the cop fired.

Was it corporate? I can see where the cove guy thought they were "let go" when in reality the driver was booked and the other two were picked up by a friend because they were hammered but not driving.
Like I said, I called bullshite on the cop thing immediately.

Not true. Remember that cop who drove his car into the LSU lakes. He had previously been drinking at a bar. He wasn't arrested for DWI or anything, was just taken home by BRPD....
