all the articles say that the local shrimpers have begun to spot them (about 600 spottings last year) but that they havent got them in big enough numbers to hit the market. plus i feel like most of those people are gonna be all like "frick those tiger skrimps, dey gonna scare away all my good eatin gulf skrimps!!!" not realizing that there is already a fairly large, established market for tiger prawns in the US and worldwide.
