Just FWIW, my 6+ has not only been in my pocket for a good amount of time since I got it, it's also been sat on and still isn't bent.

My iPhone 6 has lived in my pocket the entire three weeks I've owned it. In a simple hard plastic, clear, slim, minimalist and inexpensive ($7.99 from RadioShack) case. It has been dropped on my concrete floors in my home twice already.

Not a scratch. Or bend. Or a malfunction.

Personally, I've never been fired from Apple, nor do I want to waste time writing scripts for shite I'm not paid a salary for. I want my phone to work. Which it does for me. That's why I prefer Apple. I did not prefer working with Android to make sure Netflix worked on my Dad's Android device he bought just for my nephew to watch Netflix.

If you differ, bully for you. But stop telling people you don't know the motivations or interests of-much less the technical aptitude or appetite for the amount of time it takes to bring the device to usable, personally preferred state-what is best for them. One size don't fit all, and some of us don't want to frick around with shite they spend their days fricking around with already.

Not every human being can work on a combustible engine and or an automobile. Some endlessly tinker and spend thousands of dollars to customize or restore cars to their liking. Because you, I or someone else does not care to do this and buys a newer car or one with a warranty or brings their car to a mechanic does not make us wrong. It makes us different.

We simply have different motivations. That's all. There is nothing better or worse. It's just different.

frick me I get tired of this back and forth. From both sides. Geezus...
