Ok so if LSU would HYPOTHETICALLY go 7-5, 6-6, 5-7 the next three years, Les Miles should keep his job because he is a "good person", "graduates players", "runs a clean program", etc ??? YES winning is all that matters. That's why someone like Les Miles or Nick Saban is paid $4+ million. All the stupid "oh but he is such a good person" garbage means nothing unless you are completely delusional.
No, if Miles was a great man, but a terrible coach, then he would be out of work.
No one is debating that. What people are saying is, that even though we may have lost a handful more games with Miles at the helm, than Saban, we would still take Miles times out 10 out of 10.
The level at which Miles wins + his very entertaining media sessions is greater to us than Sabans few extra wins, and his whirlwind of condescending, media attacking, holier than thou, defensive deflective nature than doesnt work with most of the genuine people of Louisiana.
So if we lost Miles, those of you knighting for Saban would take Petrino also?
Where do you draw the line?
At what point is success not worth off the field example and behavior?
