They straight kicked our asses for three and a half quarters and then almost gave the game away by playing it safe. Miss State was clearly better that night.

I don't think anyone is arguing this, but "blowout" specifically refers to score. You can't have a blowout if the game can be won by the other team on the last play of the game.
