State and Mullen went full retard to give LSU a chance in that game. They let off the gas in the 4th quarter and put backups in. Yes, we had a shot to win at the end, but the game was dominated by state.

so if LSU does complete that 40 yard pass at the end and LSU wins, is the game still considered a blow out by State?
I mean, the score and situation at the end of the game really doesn't matter if MSU dominated the first 54 minutes of the game right?

I see where some, here, can't accept that it was a "blowout" because - by their definition - a "blowout" means that the final score was extremely lopsided. Thus, because we "only" lost by 5 points, it's was not a "blowout".
I'll switch adjectives for you, then. We got "slaughtered".
