Ok explain local market... Why can't WAFB broadcast it???? IF there is a blackout we DON'T get the game cause WAFB is a local market....

I live in New Orleans and it's playing on CBS for me.

NFL broadcast rules state that if a game is carried on cable nationally, then one over-the-air television station within each teams' market is allowed to contract to broadcast the game, for free.

Baton Rouge and New Orleans are completely separate television markets.
