I personally feel bad for you if you think you were screwed.
You just can't make anyone (with common sense) on this board understand why you signed the deal.
Even IF he lied and said you had to have the warranty to get the financing done and at 79 months, you still had the freedom to walk the frick out of there.
The % was higher, the terms were longer...both of those were above what you thought you were going to get! Why wasn't that enough to check other financing methods rather than accept those and decide you are now pissed because you got sold a warranty?
My gut tells me you had a # in mind before you walked in that you wanted to pay. I think he got to that # by stretching out the terms and at a little higher rate, and you were happy about it because you got at or below your number with the warranty included (whether he lied or not).
Take the deal, be happy. Pay it off early like you talked about and save money. Having the warranty on there is not the worst thing in the world.
Everyone keeps telling you to go refi it at a lower rate somewhere else, which you could do. But that won't do much if you plan on paying it off in the first 3 or 4 years anyway.
