Take a great win that reenergizes the LSU football program, say a win at home against a historic rival that is ranked number three in the country. Then seize upon the weakest part of that game. Then fearfully project a worst case scenario in a very solemn tone.

The more Les wins, the angrier they get. Because they have been here for ten years saying "Miles the Moron can't win doing x, y, z" and he proves them wrong again and again. But rather than think, hm, maybe you can win with below average QB play, or two tight end sets, or whatever the idee fixe of the week is, they just double down on their (objectively incorrect) opinions and get angrier and angrier because reality is not conforming with their preconceptions.

yep...take posters like DUKKEV on here.....last week he was telling us how there was NO WAY LSU could beat Ole Miss....Of course, he hoped he was wrong (which was a lie)....you are right, very good post.....the more people like Burt Reynolds, Fat Bastard, CPTBENGAL, Dukke, red, etc...are proven wrong...the more they spew their garbage. Amazing that the Monday after a big win....SOME are on here bashing Jennings...it is just unbelievable. The guy played really good and did exactly what they wanted from him for the majority of the game......yet they focus on the bad plays.

First of all, not everyone who shares the view that production from the QB position needs to be improved has been a Miles basher. Some fans happen to not swing wildly from one extreme to the other or want to be in any camp. Most fans who want a change at QB want to see it happen because they think it will BENEFIT the team the same way finally benching Welter for Beckwith has benefitted the team.

As noted above, we are now at the point that we are going to ride Jennings the rest of the year barring injury. But unless we see vast improvement over the last three games, I certainly hope and pray that the coaches take a fresh look at the position in the Spring. Because Jennings current state of play is not sufficient to win a championship in 2015. And trying to argue that I'm wrong in this view because we won a 10-7 game in which our defense dominated and Jennings was a non-factor is just as boneheaded as it would have been to argue that the program is in demise if Wallace completes that last pass for a TD.
