Notre Dame hasn't beaten anybody worth anything this year yet. Their only game of note is a loss to Florida State. Until they do something to merit a higher ranking, I think the middle of the top 25 is a good spot for a team whose only selling point is their overall record.
Auburn beat LSU and Kansas State, two top-15 teams. Of course they're rated a lot higher.
Florida State would probably be lower than #3 if they had lost that game too. IDK if I'd put them at #15, since they did beat a decent Clemson team, but they'd be out of my top 10 for sure.

Miss.st.
Michigan state.
Georgia
Fla st. In THAT ORDER....
But AU and Bama are next up..TCU gets a look though...........

Who has Michigan State beaten to deserve a top 10 ranking? They were blown out by Oregon, the only good team that they've played.
