If any administration wants to truly help the underclasses achieve upward mobility, they will have to learn how to incentivize businesses to "spread the wealth around", not penalize them for not doing it. If you try to penalize a business for not putting more money into pay at the lower end, they will simply find ways around the penalty. Making it benefit them is the key.

Raising the minimum wage is nothing but a placebo. Everyone will feel great about it, but in the long run it will do nothing as prices will creep up to match the new wage.

That he's basing his philosophy off of people making minimum wanting raises is ridiculous. Professional sports leagues have salary caps because EVERYONE wants a fricking raise if you ask them, whether they make $7.50 an hour or $7,500 an hour.

Hack 101...how 'bout by AVERAGE income...which we rank 6th in and the other countries are Qatar, non-diverse and very small.
