If you don't enjoy watching this Royals team then I don't understand how you can say you love baseball

It's all about perception and TV sets, no one cares about the Royals because up until now they were just another team to show on Sports Center getting beat by Detriot, Yankees, A's etc. now that they're in the WS the national media has to cover it but believe me it's not what they wanted. East/West coast is the desired location for big time professional sporting events if truth be told but now they got to deal with it, and when you think about it, it's strange how many people want to see the same old teams in the mix for titles and championships even if it's not your hometown or state team, it's almost like everyone has been conditioned to expect and want the same old same old

it's definitely a coast thing. the Rangers World Series runs drew huge numbers regionally. Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Arkansas, Louisiana all had big ratings. it's odd that baseball is the biggest target for Coast to Coast bias. pro football wise, the I-35 corridor has huge, well respected football franchises
