I personalty like to watch all the news to see what they're all saying. How else can one get all the sides with today's polarized environment? S

I am 50/50 conservative talk radio and NPR on my ride in to work. Mornings I work from how I watch Morning Joe and then turn that shitty channel off. Otherwise, I keep an RSS feed with a mix.

In my opinion, about the only way you can come to an approximation of an informed opinion is to listen to how both sides of the media aisle are spinning and then read between the lines. Basically neither side is ever reporting a balanced viewpoint if they are doing anything other than dryly reading the days events.

We have the 24/7 news cycle to thank, but we do have the ability to select to consume broadly and amalgamate. That being said, the reporting from the extreme media outlets is so vapid and brittle that there's really nothing to learn other than how they are forming the political narratives.
