Power 5 Conference teams

1. Miss. St. - 47
Oregon - 47

2. LSU - 46
2. Mich. St. - 46

Not sure I would have guessed that.

I'd take 5-10 yards per play with some loses here and there

over

one big play per half and a few small plays here and there.

Honestly, that is really good and speaks to a pretty explosive offense. We are averaging 36 ppg.

Our problem was in the QB disasters against Miss.St. and Auburn. If Jennings could see the field better and hit the 10-20 yard passes that are wide open for him, this offense would explode.

The other problem in those games was our defensive interior was garbage. It has gotten better with the addition of Beckwith and Adams and more rotation on the DLine. The OLine is playing much better, Fournette is advancing, and if Jennings can mature, this could be a good football team by season's end.

Will it be enough or come quickly enough for Ole Miss on Saturday? I don't know. Sometimes, the light bulb just goes on for teams and young athletes. I have seen it before. I hope it happens now.
