Let's say they arrested them and it escalated into a violent protests and riots etc. Would it have been a good decision?
Yes an ambulance being delayed by this sucks, but I'm pretty sure like most big cities Atlanta is like this normally in rush hour. It made it worse, but the goal of police is to keep things in order.
I don't support illegal protests and they should be arrested, but if arrests cause there to be larger protests and maybe riots, letting it run it's course may not be such a bad thing.
