If you are trying to get in with a student section ticket, you will need an LSU student ID.

The ID does not have to match the name on the ticket, though.

Technically, you'd need to upgrade the student ticket through the athletic department if you are not an LSU student but want to sit in the LSU student section. However, they usually don't check IDs too strongly at the gate. So, as long as you have a valid LSU ID that will swipe (whether it is yours or not), you should be fine. This may be frowned upon by some people, but frankly, as long as that student section if filled up for this big game on Saturday, I couldn't care less.
