From the 35 it made a bit of sense. From the 20, none.
You again prove that you are not the brightest of the Rantards.
When kicking off from the 35, Domingue routinely puts the ball out of the end zone, therefore negating any chance for Kentucky to get a return.
When kicking off from the 20, there is no way Domingue kicks the ball for a touchback, thereby giving Kentucky a chance to set up a return.
By squibbing the kick, you give the other team much less chance to set up a return...they are likely to just field the ball, get minimal yardage, and run the clock out.
The only dangerous thing to do was to do a full kickoff and risk them running all the way back. That was the only way they could hurt us with that little time left on the clock.
Understand???

I understand you're a moron.
One would expect a kickoff from the 20 to land about the 10 to 15... after a 20 or 25 yard return Kentucky's still on their side of the field.
With the squib from the 20 there's a significant chance the ball never reaches the 50 to begin with.

What you clowns fail to realize is that if UK had simply picked the ball up they would have had the ball at the 45 yard line with 50 seconds left. I'd bet my house that they wouldn't have simply "ran out the clock" there.
While a squib kick minimizes the chance of a huge return, it gives the receiving team good field position. See Auburn squibbing to LSU in 2005.

I do think domingue just screwed up the kick. But it worked. Kentucky player got blasted by stoops. Sure he said fall on the fricking ball. Dude just let it bounce rt by him.
