Okay, I tried one last night. No it doesn't look exactly like the picture and certainly nothing like the commercial - but that is good because it wouldn't have fit in my mouth. It did have all the ingredients shown and listed on the website - meat, bacon, cheese, buns, mayonnaise, lettuce, and tomato.

When I got home and started to prepare the burgers based on an idea I had I was very disappointed at first. I thought I had run into a case of false advertising. I was planning to take the bacon from both burgers and make a BLT and eat all of it. Then I would eat as much of the double cheeseburger as wanted. I am on a BIGTIME BLT craze right now.

Why I was disappointed is because the bacon was crushed. There was a lot of it, but the way it was mixed with the cheese and mayo and in such small pieces it would have been a lot more work than I was willing to partake in for a hamburger/BLT from Carl's.

Looking at picture again this morning it does look like the picture is also of crushed bacon. Other than the bacon being crushed it is a pretty darn good hamburger. A little messy with small pieces of bacon escaping during consumption.
