Exactly. The NYT is a for-profit newspaper, do they forfeit their freedom of press?

because when you open the doors to the public you no longer have the right to discriminate against who's funds you can accept regardless of some personal religious affiliation.

your business is not a temple, your religion does not enshrine the place you do business with the general public in some protective magic blanket of 'we can do whatever we please because Sky daddy says so in his fictional book'

if they want to discriminate, go non profit, tax exempt and become a church...then they can make any individual as uncomfortable as they want with God hates figs signs plastered on the walls.
