It does matter. It tells you something about that person and not always something negative like most people think. Almost everyone agrees that sex is an important part of a healthy relationship. Therefore it is an important part of life, right? I find it strange to ot discuss something a big part of someone's life like that. It's fine to disagree. I'm just saying I could never be with someone that wouldn't want to discuss it. Being open and honest is very important to me. That's all.

But can you blame some for not wanting to delve into detail?

I'm secure; I don't mind telling my wife what she doesn't want to hear; and I certainly don't mind hearing about her past -- zero fricks. But I can understand why some are not comfortable with it, and I don't believe it is an unparalleled barometer of someone's real self. Sex is just sex, which is essentially an emotional expression -- if you can't figure out if someone is sexual or asexual through your interactions with them, you should not be in a real relationship with them.

No. I can't. I see what you're saying. It's just not something I could ever picture myself doing.
