For God's sake he gave Glover an old pistol, I can't remember whose name it was, but they also had a T-Rex skull in the trophy case.. clearly designed to indicate they had been on Earth for a long time.

And agreed on AVP2 being WAAAAAAAY too dark. You could hardly see anything. I remember that being one of my main gripes while watching it. I liked the first one better, but the second one was just trying so hard to be over the top gory and "action-y" and it sort of failed for me. But it was damn sure far too dark.
