well duh, but is that the only two options?
after looking at the menu, id be shocked if that place thrives there. the location just isnt that good imo. especially for the lunch crowd

The name Spice makes me think of Indian cuisine. Am I alone on this?
The location ain't as bad as some here make it out to be. It ain't exactly great either, but there's a ton of traffic that goes by that place daily.
I have no doubt that a restaurant with a proper concept would do well there.
Then again, I could be wrong about the busyness of the location. I don't pass by that strip mall enough to know how busy they get, so I have a question: How is Rotolo's doing? How would you rate them? Never Busy, Rarely Busy, Busy or Very Busy? How are the other businesses in that strip mall doing? And the immediate area surrounding it? I know that lots of folks go to the fruit stand, Bowie Outfitters, La Nursery and the YMCA.
My guess is that the businesses in this area do OK (sort of between Rarely Busy and Busy). So if that's true, then the problem is with the restaurant's concept not being a good match for the location, and not due to a bad location. In other words, there's plenty of people to make a restaurant work there. It's just a matter of starting a restaurant that appeals to those people.
