I may often go on tangents, but this is one of my main problems with what's going on.

DC could have decided this was the plan, cast everyone with the purpose of rebooting several franchises (Supes, Bats, Flash, GL) and then getting them together for JL. They already had not one but TWO blueprints as to how to do this well. This. I think that's why the discussion get so intense (and even why they repeat). People really don't want DC to fail, but plenty of their decisions have been questionable at best.
