Right because that's exactly what you want. Two very inexperienced qb that are struggling with accuracy,to throw the ball where there are a lot more defenders and the % of throwing an int goes up by a lot.
Its mind boggling how dumb the rant is at times.

There are innumerable examples of Soph QB’s (or younger) executing a simple pass to TE’s in the middle of the field. In fact, in all my years of watching football I don’t ever recall an announcer remarking: “Did you see that? The soph QB just threw a short pass to the TE in the middle of the field!” It’s no big deal.

So why do we have not one, but two, very inexperienced QBs who are apparently incapable of throwing a simple pass to the TE? In your view, it’s because our QB’s are bad (“struggling with accuracy”). In my view, it’s because Les has ground-ruled this out of our O, i.e., his offensive philosophy post ’08. We don’t throw it in games because we don’t practice it during the week because it’s not in the plan.

AJ has been on campus since the spring of ’13 (early enrollee?). Sure he’ll get better in time. But I’m not aware of any serious analyst suggesting AJ fling it all over the field now. What I’m suggesting (as others, e.g., Risher and to my knowledge he doesn’t Rant) is that we use the good TE’s Les recruited to our advantage. Now, THROW the ball to the TE.
