The tragedy here isn't the outbreak. The tragedy is, by myself being a healthcare professional, seeing so clearly how this breakdown in communication occurred, and knowing how rife our healthcare system is with, quite frankly, laziness.
That's a large part of the reason our healthcare system, while regarded as the best in the world, is actually a broken system. It lacks "continuity of care."

I'm coming from the same background, and see where you're coming from. people in this thread are acting like patients are 100% honest about everything
. Only if they knew the mess these professionals had to sort through to find out the answers to some underlying problems
