Yes, you get different view points, but not ALL view points, and opinions. Some things are deliberately left out, so, to a casual observer, it would appear that he is well informed.
No matter who controls the media, a state, or a private company, they do it to achieve their goals, not to comfort you.
You have the freedom to use all the available sources, even freaking RT, and your brain, to learn to read between the lines.

We can get any view point we want bc the internet in countries like the US is not restricted like it is in Russia

we dont have state run media, our media is allowed to question the gov't unlike Russia.

Problem is places like Russia and other countries like it the people buy into the brain washing by the state through the media.
