It can be done I use GPS to tell me how fast I am going and drag 2 5 gallon buckets behind to keep me going slow about 1.3-1.5mph typically we catch fish. However I HATE trolling the causeway would much rather beat the pilings with plastics my preferred way to catch them.

For an earlier post normally they show up around the world series.

We've been trolling traps in bay boats for a while now and sometimes do pretty good. Use a drift sock and GPS.
I also understand that you can use lead core from a bay boat,i just want to try it in a Jon boat that's all






I do like jigging the poles better as well though.
