I installed 5 pairs of in-ceiling monoprice speakers for a friend back in January. Also installed their surface mount outdoor speakers, volume controls, and speaker selector. I was extremely impressed with the sound quality of all of the speakers. If I had to compare them to another, I'd say they closely resemble MTX Blueprint series.

I'm a dummy when it comes to speakers. If you were rating these on a dummy level from beginner, intermediate, to high end, what would these (monoprice) classify as far as overall sound quality is concerned?
