Anyone know the times and or schedule of games for the softball team this weekend?

Wish I could tell you. LSU Softball hates giving out information it seems.

I committed to attending some games this year after watching some inspiring performances by the softball team at the end of last year - especially by the pitcher Corbello.

I need to follow through with it.

Will stanford transfer Carley Hoover get to play this year or does she have to sit out?

I have no idea. I haven't been following the team, I just watched the games at the end of last year and was inspired by their play and said I was going to go to some games this year. So I'm going to make a real effort to do so. I've never attended a big girls softball game but I like the spirit they exhibit when they play.

Apparently not only does she get to play, but she gets last year back and will have 4 years of eligibility at LSU

Edit: She is listed as a sophomore right now on LSU's website...but she is definitely eligible to play this year

Sweet, she was a HUGE pickup. 2013 player of the year, starts off her stanford career headed for 3-0 but gets hurt in her third game. She had to sit the rest of the season out and then transfered.

She may yet get that 4th year back...LSU might have to appeal for it or something. Still, 3 sophomores and a freshman anchoring the pitching staff bodes well for the future. From what I have heard from a couple of practices, Waljasper is the real deal.

Well from someone that has been to every game since about 2005 and has season tickets. This will be the best team softball has had probably ever. If they don't win it all this year they should next year and maybe years after. This team is loaded and if you are going to go check out some games you won't be disappointed.
