I am with you on most of this, but how can you call Danielle Hunter a disappointment? I think he is one of the bright spots of the defense.

Thing is, if he had any help at the DT position, he could actually get to the QB.

Agreed. He gives max effort with solid execution. Leads linemen in tackles. DH would be a much better fit as an outside rush backer in a 3-4 alignment, IMHO.
