Everyone always talks about how the tight ends need to be more involved. But every time they do get the ball thrown to them they don't make the play.

I remember DeSean Smith dropping one ball this year. Am I missing something? A guy drops one ball and that's it? No more passes? He's phased out of the offense altogether? The tight ends have no rhythm or chemistry with the QB's, and they haven't for years. Maybe if they were thrown more than a pass or two all year, they'd improve. What the hell are they doing in practice? I can't imagine what Miles has to tell the mother of tight end prospect in order to get him to sign.

Because they get thrown to once every 6 games and are shocked it came to them

But there's no excuse for DeSean Smith not playing. He dropped a pass vs Wisky and hasn't been seen since. Dural has dropped passes. Diarse has dropped passes. Dupre has dropped passes. Quinn has dropped passes. And they don't get benched for it.
