Hey Marco.... not sure if you saw my post above... any info on the audioquest CV8s? Can't find a whole lot online.

I don't have experience with the CV line of AQ cables. Will they work? Of course they will work. Will they be a simple connect to Vandersteens? I don't know what size the binding post is on the Vandys.
It seems odd in today's audio market, especially with a speaker from a company the size of Vandersteen, that they would not have a standard size spade connector or 5-way binding post on the back. Even if it isn't standard and uses the older style "small" spade connection, that isn't a big deal. You can get small connectors/converters that connect to the jacks on the speakers and then allow any cable to connect easily. They are something like $10...no big deal.
You could actually call Vandersteen and tell them your price range and speak to them about cable choices as well.
