Anyone Have This Soup Pot?

I really like the shape and the heavy bottom shown here. Thinking about buying one or both sizes.

My gumbo pot makes soup just fine.
I would spend that money on some other kitchen item I don't really need.

My gumbo pots are huge. I don't usually make that amount of soup. I have other soup pots, but I like this one. I usually use a 6 quart for soups, but the 10 is also a great size. I have some 12's.
I use the gumbo pots for veggie soup, though. I make a lot of that at one time.

I will most likely use it for shucked oyster instead of on with the shell if I get one.
I've used those throw away aluminum ones like you linked. Worked good enough I guess.

Those are not throw away aluminum. They're reusable steel. They'll last longer than I will. You must not have looked at the site closely. I like freestanding so I can get a little flame on them.
