He had a torn fricking ACL it doesn't matter how young he is he'd have to prove he was recovered be somebody took a chance.

Which is why he was working out for teams, to show that he could still run.
You realize that Joe Morgan had 50 snaps vs. Atlanta in week 1. He had 3 targets, 0 catches, and 1 drop. He was given the opportunity this year, and couldn't grab a hold of it. Meachem had 19 snaps in the game.
Was Brees playing favorites there? Morgan still struggles with route running. He's been a healthy scratch.
