In the 26 October 1980 Gallup poll, Jimmy Carter held a wide lead over Reagan. It was well outside MOE. Carter was at 47%. Ronald Reagan was at 39%. Following their 29 Oct Presidential debate, Reagan overcame the largest deficit since Gallup polling began in 1936 to win in a landslide.
Nobody is debating thst the electorate can shift. We are talking about something that was revealed.
It is kind if sad that you would try to compare THE ONLY PRESIDENTIAL DEBATE to our current system.
