Get over myself? Do you not think we are screwed if Harris and McMillan are our only QBs? We haven't even signed McMillan yet, and we certainly aren't taking anyone else at this point to scare off 2016 guys.

So in order to make a player feel better we should start and play him despite how badly he plays...just so he wont potentially leave?

Are you people serious with this bullshite?

The REAL failure this year is in the fact that in all likelihood, we ran off our 2nd best QB because of Miles' commitment to the "experienced" guy being higher on the depth chart.

Are you serious? That's not what I'm saying at all. Nothing wrong with a healthy qb competition, and it was and still is completely necessary for the next few years. But to boo a kid before he takes a snap, because he had one bad game and we want to see a freshmen, at the fricking new mexico state game is just bullshite. We aren't going to lose that game, just let the situation play out.

In other words, no, you don't have to start the he kid to help his confidence, but don't boo him in a meaningless game , which will only hurt his confidence.
