She needs to spend some time researching and shooting before buying. Heck, if she's like most women, she'll spend more time purchasing a pair of shoes than she's going to spend buying a gun. For now she needs to borrow a gun. If I lived closer, I'd let her borrow my Taurus 22LR revolver.
