Yea, Vestavia Bowl is just awful. I never go there anymore. Only 280, which is such a pain. There is a lot of good area for one too, between Good People and Dreamland. So many of those lots are unused.

Also needs a Chipotle. At that point, i will be set

I've only been there a couple of times. I'm actually going on Friday for another work thing. We went there two years ago, and had called and reserved several lanes since there would be like 15 of us bowling, and they don't even have the bar open. They said it was open, but the guy who was bartender wasn't there. We asked if someone else could get us a couple pitchers of beer and start a tab, but they wouldn't do it. It really sucks. Not sure why we're going back there, but it will be a couple hours of blowing off steam with the work crowd, having some beer, and then heading home to start the weekend early.

I used to bowl in a league at a former job, and we used the one in Pelham. Oak Mountain Lanes. It was pretty nice. Not the dingy old smoke-filled bowling places from my youth. And the food was pretty good for a bowling alley. We did a lunch-time league, and they let us get anything on the menu for $5. The Patty Melt was good.
