Use a clothes-pin and attach it to your child's bike. It won't make the cool sounds of playing cards but will work in a pinch. Nothing but positives come from this way. The kid is entertained, you don't lose any poker cards, and the mouse problem will have taken care of itself when your child gets back from hours of fun.
