Here's hoping the Tigers come out on fire. The slow starts, followed by "wearin' em down"late in the game could well bite us in the backside during SEC play. Jump ahead of Moo State-punch em in the mouth and they'll remember the past 14 meetings...Shoot out could favor Prescott.Geaux Tigers

I will agree that slow starts, playing down, and, all too frequently, needing to be punched in the face before we play up to our potential is unnerving and frustrating as a fan.... But you can't knock the "grind them down" style of offense and game management by our, usually, more physically gifted team. It's a proven tactic that has worked, become our brand, and wins us games.

I like a 94-yard TD pass to start the game... But expect a toss dive. Start the wear-down early.

Geaux Tigers. See you Saturday.

That is pretty much our MO since 2009 with the exception of last year to an extent. If Jennings gains the coaches trust this strategy might change, but not radically. This will be an interesting game and we may open it up earlier based on State's weakness, the DBs.
