Rest assured if that occurs my faith shall return and I will join the resistance. I know how that story ends and don't want to be a pin cushion for Satan's dick for eternity.
So you believe you can simply just turn your faith on and off and God has no say in it?
What makes you think that you will believe in a time of persecution and tribulation when you won't in a time of peace?

This is what kills me about how dumb the Rapture story is.
Do you really believe that if like 300 million born again Christians just suddenly disappeared the rest of us couldn't figure out what happened?
I am Facebook friends with probably 40-50 born again Christians. If they all disappeared (plus my sister and her husband and all kids) do you really think that I'm not intelligent to say to myself: "huh. I guess I was wrong about that. I will now give my life to Christ."?
The problem with the Bible is that Paul (or was it John who wrote Rev?) wasn't privy to the fact that we'd have TV and Radio and social media, so that this story would obviously be unbelievable (I mean, even more unbelievable than all the other ones). And that' s a major flaw for a book that was supposed to be "infallible" and "written by God himself".
